Just as bad as China Town!!

After i paid in fullfor my dress, i returned to pick up my dress. I was told a bunch of lies for about 2 months. I called the manufacturer and found that calvary bridal house never put in the order for my dress. that ladies is called theft!! what did the owner do with my money. I did recieve a dress about a week before my wedding date. Since i spoke to the manufacturer and they confirmed that they never sold that model to calvary. I can only suppose that They fabricated a dress. THey gave me a fake. I can picture it now I paid about 5,000 for the owner to get some mexicans to make my dress for 200. Some one she throw her in jail!

Happy Bride

I bought my wedding gown from Calvary Bridal House a year ago. I truely had the lovlieset experience at this shop. No push sales people and a lot of gowns to try on. When I found my dress I just knew! My fittings went great and my dress was absolutley perfect. I received so many compliments & I couldn't stop smiling! I also got my bridesmaids dresses and accessories there too. I can only recommend that you go there for a really wonderful experience!

A Great Experience

I had a great experience! I never really thought Iw ould buy my dress at the first store but my salesperson helped me pick out great styles and then there was "The One". At the wedding I was told over and over how beautiful the dress was and how perfectly it fit. The fitting woman was phenomenal. I couldn't have been more pleased!

Perfection

Until I came to Calvary I had an absolutely horrible time bridal gown shopping. I am a larger size and none of the samples at any store fit the way they were supposed to. When I came here, I was greeted warmly and my sales person, Carola, immediately put me at ease. She asked me to tell her about what I really wanted my dress to look like, instead of saying that they only had a few things that would fit, like some other places. The emphasis became about finding the right dress, she managed to get me into things I would have never have considered before. I absolutely found the dress of my dreams and at my wedding this past March I felt like a Queen! Carola put all my accessories together and went with me tot he shoe store downstairs to find the perfect shoe. I can wholeheartedly recommend coming to this shop for the great service. My sister is getting married in 2009 and we aren't going any place else!

???????????????????????? 8/19/2008THE WORST NIGHTMARE THAT ANYBODY CAN EXPERIENCE!MY DAUGHTERS WEDDING!!!!!!!You have a little girl and she grows up too be the most beautiful lady. One day she fiends the man of her life.? And then she shops with her mom for her wedding gown....BOTH ARE EXITED....and guess what happens when you go to Calvary Bridal....SIX WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING....NO GOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!This was the worst nightmare for my doughter and myself.Can you belive that this store is still operating under chapter x11...the nightmare we experienced is belying comprehension...My Daughters'gown was never deliver by Calvary bridal store and had to by it from a New York store....what a pity...and all the aggravations Olga causes...SHE IS JUST A WASTE...AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.DON'T EVER GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

They filed Chapter XI Bankruptcy!!! BEWARE

I ordered a Reem Acra dress on July 7, 2007 for my weddign on July 29th, 2008 and guess what? They never got m,y dress and did nto egt my refund back of almost $3,000.00!! Had to get my dress at the Reem Acra store in NY at full price NY taxes and over a $1,000 in alteration fees in order to egt my weddign dress that I origianlly ordered a year before my weddig day!!!!! Higly, highly recomend that all future brides stay far away from Calvary Bridal and if you don;t ebliev me, go to the Better Business Bureau websit and read there review!!!

Calvary Bridal is a scam

Calvary Bridal is scam! I have heard of atleast five other brides personally, besides msyelf who have been liked to endlessly from Eldga and told that our dresses were not in or on their way, to later find out that my dress had been there for over a month and other's dresses had never been ordered. I don't know what they are doing with the money, but do not go here!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Best

I wanted to thank all of the ladies at Calvary for their extraordinary service and help during the planning of my wedding. My date had to be moved up by 4 months due to my fiance being deployed. This store pulled through and not only got me the dress I wanted, but also did the alterations in one day. They accomplished the impossible. I say this becuase the first two stores I went to could not get me a dress in time. The first thing my sales person at Calvary said was "Don't worry we'll find you a dress today" and they did! I was able to be married in a dress I loved and my fiance said I never looked more beautiful. Many guests complimented me on both the dress and the fit. I cannot thank Rosemarie, Carola and Debra enough for everything they did for me. I know that there are some unhappy posts on this website BUT I would strongly encourage anyone to check the store out for yourself, because these people really care. Thanks again, Calvary!!!
